Streamline payment processing with Cybersource and Netsuite

About the Client

Our client “ Frontstream” is a U.S. based organization that offers a digital platform designed for managing and processing fundraising events. The client has a customer payment and reimbursement team, making accurate payouts integral to their business.

Challenges 

1. No creation of an unapproved payment record for unauthorized transactions. 
2. Email not getting triggered for rejected transactions to the payer. 
3. An unapproved transaction was appearing in the bulk payment processing list even after getting processed once and deletion of the unapproved payment record. 

Solutions Provided by Blueflame Labs 

Blue Flame Labs stepped in to address these challenges and provided a solution to mitigate these challenges. Here’s how we assisted them: 

1. Configured payment processing profile to reflect unapproved payment records. 
2. Optimized the script to trigger emails if an unauthorized payment is rejected. 
3. A user event script was developed to execute upon the creation of a customer payment and the existing bulk processing suitelet was modified. 

Results 

Thanks to the collaboration with Blueflame Labs, the customer is now able to track unauthorized transactions diligently and take swift action in terms of customer follow-ups to improve cash flow and avoid discrepancies.
