Overview

About the Client

The client manufactures nutritious, high-quality animal feed that is sold through feed stores and products are sold under the different brands in the western United States. They offer a range of animal nutrition options including antibiotic-free equine feed, specialty hog feed, and nutritious chicken food tailored for layer hens, since 1970. The client produces a wide range of feeds for many species. They used Salesforce combined with Rootstock to streamline the manufacturing process.

The Challenge
  • The client aimed to scale the Load Out information that goods are hauled inside a truck that is being moved including truck plate, trailer plate, ship to, estimated shipment date/time, etc. to keep track of all the data.
  • Rootstock ERP does not provide an out of the box feature to maintain load-out track weight data for tracking purposes.
  • They aimed to design a structure in Salesforce CRM to maintain all information with weight and process the orders.

Our Solution

  • Implemented a custom solution that allowed to store all Load out information for Weight Tickets
  • This ensured the tracking by automatically updating the data from related work orders and Sales orders.
  • Blueflame Labs implemented a solution that used custom development over Rootstock structure to allow seamless data exchange between the custom and rootstock features.
