About the Client

Our client was one of the top sellers of cannabinoid products in their most pure and potent form. The project’s aim was to enhance the fulfillment processes to support the functioning of their growing business. This case study highlights one of the major projects that helped them speed up their fulfillment process.

Challenges
  1. They had Orders coming from different sources like Woo commerce, Shopify, Expert Voice but needed centralized processing of those orders and maintaining accounts consistent across the board
  2. They wanted to handle both B2B and B2C orders in the same system and fulfill them from one single platform
  3. They wanted to continue using the existing platforms for ordering but needed order fulfillment to be done in Salesforce
  4. They needed to maintain inventory for multiple locations in the system

  1. Implemented Rootstock ERP from scratch
  2. Integrated multiple systems directly with Rootstock to bring all the orders into the same system
  3. Built a fulfillment system for the fulfillment stations native in Salesforce

Results

Thanks to the collaboration with Blueflame Labs, using Rootstock combined with Salesforce, they had a huge increase in Order volumes across all platforms. They grew from a few hundred thousand in sales in 2019 to being recognized as #16 on the INC. 5000 list. They got acquired by a company for $31 Million which helped fuel a 98% increase in revenue in 2022.
