About the Client

Blueflame Labs undertook a project for a manufacturing client to implement a rating system based on how well a prospect’s profile matched the ideal customer profile. The goal was to automate prospect grading and streamline the prospecting process using Pardot Grading and Automation Rule technologies.

Challenges

The client faced the challenge of manually evaluating prospects based on their profiles, which was time-consuming and prone to human error. They needed a solution to automate the grading process and ensure that prospects were accurately evaluated against specific criteria.

Our Solutions

To address the client’s challenges, Blueflame Labs implemented the following solutions:

  1. Setting Up Pardot Grading Profiles:We worked closely with the client to define criteria for increasing prospect grades. These criteria included factors such as job title, industry experience, company size, and other relevant parameters.
  1. Example Prospect Grading:As an example, we set the criteria that prospects with the job title of “Engineer” would be assigned a grade of 1. This was just one criterion among several that were established to assess the prospects’ alignment with the ideal customer profile.
  1. Automation Rule Implementation:We leveraged the Pardot Automation Rule to automate the process of matching or not matching each criterion of the grading profile. The automation rule would evaluate prospects against the defined criteria and update their grades accordingly.

Results

By implementing the above solutions, Blueflame Labs achieved the following results for the manufacturing client:
