Job Description
The Techno-Functional NetSuite Consultant is responsible for bridging the gap between business requirements and technical implementation. This role involves understanding business processes, configuring NetSuite solutions, developing custom scripts, and ensuring seamless integration with other systems. The ideal candidate will possess both technical expertise and functional knowledge of NetSuite ERP.
- Business Analysis and Consultation:
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into NetSuite solutions.
- Conduct gap analysis and recommend best practices for system configuration and business processes.
- Provide functional expertise and guidance on NetSuite modules such as ERP, CRM, and SuiteCommerce.
- System Configuration and Customization:
- Configure NetSuite modules to meet business needs, including setting up workflows, custom fields, and records.
- Develop and maintain custom scripts (SuiteScript) to automate processes and enhance system functionality.
- Create and manage SuiteFlow workflows to streamline business processes.
- Integration and Data Management:
- Lead the integration of NetSuite with other business applications using tools like SuiteTalk, RESTlets, and middleware solutions.
- Ensure data integrity through proper data migration, cleansing, and validation processes.
- Develop and maintain integration documentation and data flow diagrams.
- Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
- Provide ongoing technical support to NetSuite users, addressing system issues and user inquiries.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to NetSuite configurations, customizations, and integrations.
- Conduct system audits and implement enhancements to improve system performance and usability.
- Training and Documentation:
- Develop and deliver training sessions for end-users and technical teams on NetSuite functionalities and best practices.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, customizations, and integrations.
- Keep up-to-date with NetSuite releases and new features, and provide recommendations for system improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in NetSuite implementation, configuration, and customization.
- Strong understanding of NetSuite modules, including ERP, CRM, and SuiteCommerce.
- Proficiency in SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk, and SuiteBuilder.
- Experience with data migration and integration tools (e.g., Celigo, Boomi, MuleSoft).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- NetSuite certifications (e.g., SuiteFoundation, SuiteCloud Developer).
- Experience in project management and leading cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of accounting and finance principles.
- Experience in the IT sector.
